About the event

Meet some of GRAS's board of directors and take a tour of the Southern Wisconsin Bird Alliance's newest property, a shining jewel of prairie, woodlands, and marshes located on the shores of Lake Koshkonong in northern Rock County.  This property has been in active restoration by Gary and Penny Shackelford since 1985, is a designated State Natural Area, and is currently closed to public access except for events like this. 

Directions:  Hwy 26 north to Cty Trk N, left on Vogel Rd.   One mile to driveway on the left.   At the fork in the driveway, stay left.   Meet at the small barn on the left side of the driveway
